Promessa Property Group Limited was founded in 2007 and owns and manages properties across New Zealand. These comprising of commercial and light industrial premises in main city and town centres.
Promessa is part of the TPT Group, it is a privately held investment company with a focus on the growth and development of a portfolio of entities in key business sectors including technology, innovation, property and finance. The group provides governance, strategy, systems and capital to allow the businesses to fulfil their market potential.
The overall group consists of nine businesses, several leaders in their respective fields. The focus of the group is to create a great group of businesses with several focussed on technology and future innovative products.
The group is well capitalised for growth with the focus over the last 24 years on owning all assets, from plant and equipment through to significant property investments. Our strategy, diversification, and financial position, have positioned TPT Group well for the future.

GOVERNANCE
Promessa Property Group Limited comes under the governance of the board of TPT Family Office Limited with all directors based locally in New Zealand.
TPT Family Office Limited is committed to sound corporate governance that will ensure the company operates as efficiently as possible while providing for the appropriate level of accountability and transparency. The Board guides strategic direction and context and focuses on issues critical for the businesses successful execution.
The Board delegates management of the day-to-day affairs of the company to the Executive Team under the leadership of the Group Chief Executive Officer to deliver the strategic direction and goals determined by the Board.
Angela Putt- Business Manager
Angela has been with the wider group since 2009 and has extensive experience in adminsitration and management with the Promessa Property Group business. Prior to TPT Group she was involved with the import and export of freight with P&O Nedlloyd and Jas Jenners Worldwide Freight.. Angela is experienced with Body Corporates, leases and property maintenance, ensuring our tenants are always supported.
Steven Mudoch - General Manager Commercial
Steven is the General Manager Commercial for TPT Group, he is a passionate finance executive with a successful track record across different industries. (Retail, FMCG manufacturing, medical/healthcare, supply chain)
He is a commercially focused finance generalist with extensive experience in strategy, FP&A, controlling, business partnering, continuous improvement, M&A’s, IT, cost accounting and project management. Steven has a strong expertise in treasury, financial risk management and internal controls. Steven has a proven track record of coaching, mentoring and developing high performing teams.
He has successfully delivered on a broad range of highly complex strategic initiatives, restructures and organisational projects, delivering short term cost savings and long term growth opportunities.
Steven also leads Technology Leasing NZ.
Mike Marr - Managing Director & Group CEO
Mike was born in Pukekohe and is a New Zealand entrepreneur, he’s the co-founder and owner of TPT Group and he holds a number of governance roles. Over 22 years Mike has led 10 successful start-up companies and completed 13 business acquistions. In 2020, Mike was acknowledged as a Blake Leader Awardee. This prestigious award recognises inspirational New Zealanders whose leadership style has delivered high-impact results and contributed to a more sustainable future for Aotearoa.
In 2017, he was one of two Global recipients of the Beta Gamma Sigma Medallion of Entrepreneurship (the first recipient to be awarded the Global honour outside of the USA). The Medallion for Entrepreneurship is awarded to noteworthy Global businesspeople who combine innovative business achievement with service to humanity. In 2014 he was a finalist in the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Awards for NZ.
Mike is a professional director of electricity lines company Waipa Networks, Rhema Media, and recently retired from the AUT University Business School Advisory Board. He is also Chair of The Runway Foundation and was recently elected as a trustee of Counties Energy Trust.
Mike and his wife Terese founded The Runway Foundation in 2015, a registered NZ Charitable Trust providing support for families experiencing the challenge of ADHD but also to support the wider community. He is a strong believer in giving back to the community and supports several charities and community initiatives, including Lifewise, Community Food Banks and Crisis Funds.
Terese Marr - Non Executive Director
Terese is also the c0-founder of TPT Group and over the life of the businesses has held non-executive director roles as well previosuly holding the role of HR Manager. She is the CEO of The Runway Foundation and leads the Not For Profit side of the group. She is experienced leader and holds a Diploma in Teaching, Bachelor of Education, and Post Grad Certificate in Educational Leadership.
Brendan Wood - Independent Director
Brendan is a highly regarded New Zealand commercial lawyer residing in Auckland as a Partner with Daniel Overton & Goulding. Brendan specialises in acquisitions, commerical law and commericial property.
He also holds various Independent Trustee roles as well as Indepedent Director roles. One of his recent roles includes being a Non Executive Director of listed company Just Water International.
